PAPAGO! has designed a hard-wire kit that is compatible with most of their dashcam line to offer their customers another safe method of powering up their device. By using a hard-wire kit you can get rid of extra charging cables that use the cigarette lighter outlet, avoid excessive wires running across your headliner and into the charging port, and can utilize the parking surveillance or motion detection feature that most PAPAGO! dashcams come preinstalled with.
The hardwire kit is designed to safely power up your dashcam without draining your battery. It has an automatic shutoff capability that will sense when it may be draining your car’s battery and it will power down the dascham, so you never have to worry. Leaving your car parked for a long period of time with it hardwired will not damage or drain your battery but will keep your car protected in case of a vandal when you have the motion detection feature turned on. It works with an input voltage of DC 12V-36V, 1A and has an output voltage of DC 5V, which is the necessary amount to power up the dashcam.
Installation requires that you ground the hardwire kit cables to your fuse box rather than using the cigarette charger. You can either use a “hot on start” fuse or “always hot” fuse. If you want to take advantage of the motion detection feature the “always hot” fuse must be used and motion detection set to “ON”. You will not have to worry about cutting any wires or altering your vehicle in any way. Dismantling the hot wire kit is just as simple and will not cause any damage to your vehicles’ fuses. The 13-foot cord gives you ample wire to run it successfully in almost any car, truck, or rig that you may have.
We do recommend that you get a professional to install this kit if you are unsure of the safe and proper procedure. PAPAGO! dashcams that are compatible with our hardwire kit are: P-series (not equipped with motion detection); GoSafe 110; GoSafe 200; GoSafe 260; GoSafe 272; GoSafe 318; GoSafe 118; and the GoSafe 520.
There has been an update to the GoSafe 260 firmware. It is important to update.

PAPAGO! Is best known for its top-of-the-line dashcams. We opened our doors in December of 2013 and have already started increasing awareness about the benefits that dashcams can offer drivers of all ages. Being able to record any accidents on the road, unsafe driving, and long road trips are something that drivers are gaining an interest in. The safety features that all of our dashcams come with are useful for keeping drivers alert and cautious while on the road.
Not only does PAPAGO! make superior dashcams, but we also specialize in tire pressure monitoring systems that are effortless to use as well as reliable at keeping your tires in optimal condition. Being able to check your tire pressure just by logging into an APP on your mobile device is revolutionary. The convenience that the TPMS 500BT provides far surpasses most vehicles’ internal system as well as the old-fashioned tire gauge.

PAPAGO! is pleased to announce that they will feature the newest editions to the GoSafe line at the COMPUTEX Taipei 2014 this year. The newest GoSafe dashcams are both incredibly different. Each covers specific creative technological qualities for consumers with specific needs in mind. The stealth design of the GoSafe 200 is like nothing else on the market today with its’ ability to clip on your rearview mirror and a hideaway LCD screen. While the GoSafe 260 replaces your rearview mirror and records footage with a crisp, clear quality that overshadows all the similar products of its’ kind.
COMPUTEX Taipei is best known as the host to the top innovators and tech greats from around the world, so PAPAGO! will fit right in. You can find PAPAGO! in the Taipei World Trade Center, Exhibition Hall 1, 1F Booth #D0611a. COMPUTEX Taipei 2014 will be held at the Taipei International Convention Center from June 3-7.
The GoSafe 200 has an ergonomic design that clips on the back of the car’s rearview mirror and allows for the driver to use or hide-away the 2” LCD screen so you will not break any placement laws and avoid getting distracted while driving. The GoSafe 200 has a mini-compact design that weighs 0.2 lbs. with a large viewing range of 140° angle and 1080p HD resolution so you are sure to record everything. The PAPAGO! research and design team diligently works towards providing features that promote safety. In line with that motto the sliding LCD screen was designed so the driver can put it away or use it when they want to snap a picture or manage the device.
The GoSafe 260 is also designed with safety in mind for those individuals that do not want to add another device into the car but would rather just use it in replace of their car’s rearview mirror. The GoSafe 260 outweighs its’ competitors by using a highly developed anti-glare mirror that helps the driver avoid obtrusive flares of light that can cause accidents. Far surpassing other rearview mirror dashcams, the 2.7” LCD screen allows the driver to have a wider viewing range of the events behind them, while the camera’s 1080p HD capture rate records vivid footage of your drive or lets the driver zoom in and out so they can snap a photo.
Starting June 6, 2014 the latest PAPAGO! GoSafe dashcams will be available for purchase in the US and Canada at select retailers. Please visit us.papagoinc.com for the latest retailers available. If you are interested in becoming a distributor please contact email@example.com.
